With their advanced load-carrying capacity and compact design, FAG tapered roller bearings are ideal for non-driven front- and rear-wheel applications. The inversely fit inner and outer rings can be disassembled easily for service and greasing. For wheel end applications, these bearings are typically installed in pairs on rear-wheel applications and should be adjusted according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.

This compact, lightweight, maintenance-free unit combines the cost-effectiveness of a Generation 1 bearing with the convenience of an integral mounting flange. Engineered mainly for non-driven wheel applications, the FAG Generation 2 design features a factory-set preload and an innovative retaining ring that secures the bearing in the carrier and eliminates the need for a clamping unit. The orbital-formed shoulder precisely secures the roller paths in place to maximize bearing life.
